Dogs, as scenes.
Based in the Netherlands, Noord-Brabant.
I create cinematic dog photography built around atmosphere, intention and character.
Each image is a constructed moment — not accidental, not decorative.
Dogs are placed within carefully chosen settings, guided with subtle direction, and captured as part of a scene rather than a pose.
The result feels familiar, but slightly unsettling.
Like a frame taken from a film you’ve never seen.

The k9 Shutter mindset
I don’t photograph dogs as cute subjects.
I photograph them as presence.
Every shoot starts with atmosphere: location, light, posture, silence.
Direction is used to build a believable scene - not to force emotion.
My work sits somewhere between documentary and fiction.
Controlled, but never stiff.
Designed, but still real.
Not every moment needs to be explained.
Some are meant to be felt.
